Default Tuning for a supercharger

Ok, i know there are alot of posts on "im gonna get this, hows it sound". And most never happen. Well i do plan on gettin the jrsc, but what do you guys use to tune it. Im not super familiar with parts for hondas, mainly with fuel and tuning. Well i plan on running a little bit bigger injectors for it. My question is, what kind of injectors are good, and not over kill for a JRSC GSR, looking to run low 13s to high 12s. And what do you use to tune with it? Is the Apex SAFC good enougjh? or do i need soemthing a lil more?

Now to this...I am just guessing. I dont know a thing about super charger setups...other than how they work. But i would assume its the same as a turbo setup. Use either a FMU...maybe 330 injectors....atleast a walbro190 fuel pump...maybe an afc hack, and GET IT TUNED....as in a few pulls on a dyno

Ive always thought of a supercharge setup is like NA just with alot more air. Does JRSC have upgraded pulley for higher boost? Are 440cc injectors too big? Waht is FMU? fuel management or something? Ive got a Walboro 255lph fp from my WRX still. Im def going to get it tuned, weve got a great dyno shop here in montgomery, and i get it pretty cheap.

Use uberdata. It's a fully tunable program and you'll pay less for it than you would a VAFC or SAFC.

Uberdata is about the same as Hondata. You basically tune your ecu the way you wish. Heres some reading info for you.

Depends on how much boost you expect to run.

the great thing about the JRSC setup is that you shouldn't need anything than what is supplied in the kit for low boost. It has a boost reactive fuel pressure regulator that will increase the fuel pressure when its under boost. Also you won't be boosting all the time. It has some sort of bypass so it only applies boost when a certain throttle position is reached.

You should check out the JRSC site and they have a link to email them questions. I did on the exact same question you have and that is the same basic reply. Good choice on the SC due to ease of install and tuning.

I'm running 6psi on my JRSC. I am also using Uberdata to tune it. DSM 450cc injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, stock everything else. I works perfectly fine my a/f ratio is 11.9-12.3 wot. Oh yea i street tuned it with a wideband o2.

Wow thanks for the info guys. I dont plan on just bolting the jrsc up to it and be done. I want to run the high boost setting on it, and biggger injectors, like RC440cc or something of the sort (still gotta look into it).
