2005 version is being shipped.

Unfortunately we actually got 2 of them since there are 2 licensed racers in the house. If anybody out there isn't a licensed racer (yet?), and wants a 2005 GCR, let me know. I'll cut you a deal.

I am 99% sure that JRDbuilt will take it. If he doesn't, then I will kick him in the nutz, then hit him over the head with it, so consider it gone. I am quite sure he will pick it up at the Feb Rd. Atl race.

i knew it was online, but I want a paper copy.. easier for me to tote around and read..

 

what's with the adverts in it this year. i don't remember any from 04.

 

Do you still have to buy one to get teched? If not I'm just going to get a 3-ring and print out a copy.

 

So does anyone know why were being magically mailed these this year? I know I haven't paid anything extra for it. Are they uping our due's or something? Should I already know this?

My household has received 3 now and my Dad still hasn't received his.

No, they upped the price of the race license by $20 and now you get a GCR included for "free."

Its a good idea in theory since so many racers were choosing to not buy a damned rule book, but if you have more than one licensed racer in the house... Well...

As far as printing one out, I think I'd buy one instead.
Thats alot of toner/ink and can't possibly be saving that much money in the grand scheme.

Yea, I guess I'm ok with that. It is kind of stupid to send more than one to a household but I think anyone who's racing is supposed to have their own current GCR so...

 

i'm pretty sure you can just print out the section applicable to your particular class for tech inspection. but for protests you must have the official GCR.

my memory could be failing me though.
