right now my car is throwing ecu codes of 1,15,7

code #1 i dont care much about and code #7 cuase i really have no clue what the hell is a throtle angle. The main problem is code 15 the ignition. I got new plugs and plug cables. I honestly think its the distrib my car hates to start and when it does it loves to back fire

i just wanted to know what you guys think and how to remidy this or these problems thank you

 

Fix the number 7.
It's that sensor on the throttle body.
It tells the ECU how far you have the trottle opened so it knows how to adjust fuel and timing for that condition.

Why not fix #1 while you are at it... should run quite a bit nicer with a good O2 in there. No more lean or rich conditions hampering your performance.

The #15 is distributor releated.
Trouble shoot it with a service manual or go get a different one and test it out.

If you are getting these codes just after doing wiring from a swap, double check your wiring.

 

well its actually my buddys car and right now he is soo poor. he can just fix one right about now. granted it isnt a crx its DX 4 door. we worke don it some and he isnt to good witha Dual point carb and we pretty much came to the same thing its the distrib now we just gotta find one.

 

I think all three of those codes is causing the car to run bad. The O2 and TPS sensors are very important to the ecu.
