on the accords, the adjustment has a vertical option as well. under this cover there is a screw to mount to, BUT it looks unsafe to mount a harness bar to. it is more for anchoring one side of the seatbelt. NOT SAFE in my opinion.

just get one of the bolt in cages on optauto's website...they come with harness bars and aren't terribly expensive...

i have a four door and i still want my back seat to be functional. also i dont want the cosmetics of a cage in my car along witht the weight. i found one shop that builds them but he wont put on in a four door because of some law in AZ i guess.....

guys...there is no where safe to mount it. it looks nice, but just use the rear seat bolt anchor points instead. safety first.

if you really want/need one, like Nick said, get a half cage. if you have a harness bar in the rear, no one will want to ride with you anyways. talk about losing teeth...

i have no doubt that the bar works like it is supposed to; shoring up that gap in the middle of the car, but for every day use, like he was asking about, it's not a good option.

just use the seatbelt anchors in the rear for your harnesses.
