Ok my crx looks tight and all, but my hood dosent look so kool. YOu know that clear coat crap, well basically its all blah and crummy looking, It basically peels off but very slowly. Is there a real quick way to remove the clear coat thing or something? Cuz I dont want to sit there for hours, and scratch that crap off...

 

use a quick belt sander or any type of power sander, takes maybe an hour. or you could use airplane paint stripper, its called something like that, just spray on and wipe off.

 

Could try a powerwasher to take the clearcoat and paint off with it,

because y0 car has to lOOk mAhD TyTe y0!!!

Actually I might go with belt sander. Either way it will look best to repaint.

 

Wow so what are you tyin to gain here....that clear coat stuff is what protects your car and makes it look shinny ya know....by peeling all that off you are gonna have a dull as hood that looks no better than what you have now...and if you are goin for looks I def wouldnt take a belt sander which in the automotive refenishing world would be a DA(daul action sander) or paint stripper cause then you will be able to watch it rust away....let me know what you are tryin to accomplish and I could help ya a lil more......peace
