Default HID or no?

Should I pick up a set of HID's, or should I invest my money somewhere else?

Get some HIDs. You'll never regret it.

HID are obviously great but no way in hell is that worth that kind of money, just do the 9005 conversion, thatll help your vision at night, now i know that thats not even close to a HID system but waaaaaaaaaaay cheaper.
take that moeny and invest it in something else for your baby.

True, the first day I got mine, I removed the bulb limiter. I ran serveral people off the road, blinding them. So, I welded the limiters back on, still very bright. I always get cars flashing their high beams from two to three cars a night, even with the limiters installed. Some say they look like I have high beams on. But IMO, the HID's light up almost everything from around 1000ft.

Just make sure you get the correct bulbs for the correct headlight. As there are ones made for projectors and ones made for reflective housings. IMO it's worth to go to the Philips conversion kit.

True they are expensive, but I have a friend, that's going to hook me up with a genuine set of HID's of an S4 for 250, with the bulbs and balast. That's cheap, it's around the same price as a set of PIAA fog lights with bulbs. If it's a toss between fog lights, and HID's it's probably the HID's. So most likely I'm going to pick them up from him tonight.
