What year did TB's come with the FITV valve?
Yeah yeah...I searched....but the words "Throttle Body" and "FITV" returned a little over a trillion results.
I'm basically just wondering what throttle bodies came with the Fast Idle Thermo Valve under the throttle body as opposed to the intake manifold...I'm switching manifolds and would like to maintain it do to living in cold *** climate.

So im guessing u have a compatible TB now (with the lower hole for FITV) as well as a compatible IM along with the FITV itself installed. What manifold are u going to switch to? Also, just swap over your FITV "ready" TB to the new IM.

No...I have a throttle body now that does NOT support the FITV (since my manifold does). I'm purchasing the AEBS manifold which does not have spots for the FITV....however, I know there were certain years (obd1???) in which the FITV is located on the bottom of the TB. These are the TB's I am trying to source inorder to retain my fist idle.

I talked to someone who told me that obd1 GSR throttle bodies have the valve for sure. The one I am looking at purchasing is a 99-2000 civic si TB...but I don't believe this has the spot on the TB for the FITV...so I might end up having to eliminate it. Bump to find out if it is ONLY obd1 gsr's.
I just sold a 99 SI TB and it DOES NOT have it. My 92 obd-1 GSR b17 has one, but its integrated into the intake manifold as well so thats out the window. Its gettin narrowed down...

Also...right now I have an obd0 TB....so is the only difference going to be that my FITV will connect to the TB as opposed to the manifold? I don't need to get an OBD1 FITV will I?
What I'm basically asking is that FITV's all work the same way...one just does its job via the Intake Manifold....while the other does it on the throttle body, correct??? This would mean that my TB would have a single hole (for the IACV) while the TB I desire should have 2 holes (for the IACV and FITV)...right?
