DC sports 4-2-1 header + 02 sensor info
Currently my '00 Si is running NO 02 sensors cause some moron took them out and I havent had the $$$ to buy everything but I do now! Just need to know, the Si uses 2 02 sensors, one in the header and one in the cat. Does the DC sports header have a spot and is it the stock location for the sensor? I'm gonna get new OEM sensors and a jackson racing CAT and want to know everything will work together before I drop $1,000 on all this stuff.
Thanks
Thanks
dc sports headers have o2 bungs in them... if u buy one for the correct application it should be pefect... also the supply the extentions for ur o2 sensor if necessary

it's the actual hole that you'll be plugging the O2 sensor into to get readings off one of the pipes. my DC bung-hole (couldn't resist!) is only one of the pipes, whereas my stock header took a reading from all 4 i believe....no codes thrown, all good in the 'hood

right, if you buy the right header then it comes with a bung. if you buy lets say i think a gsr header for a b16, then the you have to make a test pipe with a bung in it. i belive so, i had a gsr header that dint' have a bung. so i made one.
Worst case scenario would be having to go to a welding shop and have a nut welded in...no big deal.
If your purchasing a header for that specific model of car, you shouldnt have an issue. Especially from DC.
