Eng.Temp guage broke
the eng.temp guage on the cluster (99si) does not work on mine... anyone know how to get it off of the cluster to replace it? (on the back where the need goes through a copper wire ball looking thing).. i'de like it to be working for the EXPO5
or do i just need to buy another cluster? thanks in advance

If you can troubleshoot that the temp gauge is busted, you can then easily swap that part out. You do not have to change clusters.
Taking the cluster out is self explainitory. Take the top two screws out, pull teh black trim, then remove the 4 screws that hold the actual cluster in place. Then getting to the inside will be a something I shouldnt have to type the whole way. Its explainitory.

Just remove the screws holding the guage to the cluster they pop right out then just get a new guage from a junk yard or someones busted cluster and screw it back in

I have an EK cluster in my EG and I have taken ALL of the guages out of both and reinstalled them and all you do it losen the 2 screws on the back of the cluster and the entire temp guage will come out.
