i would check your starter and ignition signal fuse's....then i would start tracing power and ground from the ignition switch to the starter

hey you should try checking out ur distributor and see if it spark...if it doesn't spark it may mean that u need a new one or maybe u neet to fix the rotor inside of it....

i don't think it would be the distributor because it's not cranking or turning over from what he says.........i would also try while turning the key to move your clutch pedal in and out, to see if it might be your clutch safety switch

true...i agree...but one of my cousin have a similar situation and it was the rotor inside of the distributor.....so either take my advise or not...

Before you do anything more that will cost you money, do this. If you have a manual transmission, there is a connector under the clutch that tells it the clutch is engaged. Connect those 2 wires together. This happened to me exactly what you stated. I did what I just told you to do and my car started right up. If you don't have a manual transmission or that didn't solve your problem, it most likely is the main relay, but there is a SMALL chance its the ignition.

thanks for all the input, but here is some more info. it is a automatic to manual swap so i have no clutch safety switch and always started great before. and also i did double check the switch from the auto to make sure it is in the park position to start it. and it wouldnt be the distributor, this is because the distributor has nothing to do with the starter not cranking, because even if there was no distributor it would still crank. I have also checked all the fuses and they are all good. the only thing i have been able to come up with is that i have a open in the ignition to starter circut so when i get up tomorrow im gunna check all of that. but i appreciate all of the input. thanks.
