Default 94 Accord cooling fan issue

My 94 accord Vtec 4cyl when I turn off the engine the cooling fan comes on and I hear a clicking noise coming from the Relay the fan surges and surges for about 30 min then finally kicks off. Is the relay going bad or is it something else.

TIA

If the fan is kicking on after you shut off the car it usually means your car is running hot. Chk to make sure your radiator is full with coolant/water. Make sure the fan is periodically kicking on while the car is idle.

The most common cause is the temp sensor, the one that is in line with the top rad hose. You can unplug it when the fan is running with the key off to see if the fan shuts off.

Kewl seems like that might be the problem I will check after work when I drive home That might be causing the relay to click on and off if there is a bad connection with the temp sensor. Replaced thermostat and radiator last year they are fine and my car doesnt overheat.

Thanks
