hey i have a d16z6 launching question?
there are so many variables that can affect a launch. Launching is a beautiful thing when you have a good understanding of how your car works. Depending on tire/rim choice, suspension, drag surface, car weight... There are too many variable too really have a dedicated rpm for launching. So, just play with your car more and answer your own question.

well lets say that i have a cx with a del sol d16z6 motor in it...it has a light weight body style so do u have any suggestion that what rpm is best...all of the others stuff is just stock and oh yeah it is lowered.

Dude... go out and practice. If your car is bogging off the line your not revving it high enough. If your car is just spinning the tires off the line your revving it too high.

season before last, I went with bigger injectors, blew thru the clutch in 4th gear, 13.40 @ 103 mph. No money for a new clutch.
last season, found a killer clutch, CM stage 4 with 8 lb flywheel. Flywheel TOO light and tried using 22x8x13 MT's on lensos, car slowed to 13.40 @ 101 mph.
Lacks of funds, still going fast on nothing.
