fan not turning on

Default fan not turning on

so my fan is not turning on, I tested the fan and the fuse and they are good. I still need to check the relay and ...
not sure what else to check just wondering what to check and how to test it

relay and cut, bare wires. dont know how to test relays

unplugged it and put 12volts to it

its on the thermostat housing. unplug it and connect the 2 leads in the plug. your fan should then turn on (if your ignition is in the position II (on). if it does, then ur switch is bad.

my car takes forever for the fan to kick in, but it never over heats

Does anyone here run there fan all the time to cut down underhood temps? When i bought my turbonetics kit there instructions showed a wire in the fuse box that made the fan run whenever the engine was on they said it was a good idea.

You can do that to cut back on excessive heat, but unless your having an overheating problem or expect to theres no real benefit. You might try getting a lower temperature switch so that it comes on sooner, or wire the relay to a switch inside the car so that you can turn it on at your discretion.

loop the female connection from the plug on the thermostat, the bronze thing under the intake manifold.....only problem is itll always run : P

i have never seen my fan turn on but i assume it works because my engine never overheats. I would check the fuses, but as long as your engine isn't overheating i don't think it is a major problem.
