Default DIY o2 Sensor simulator anyone have any Instructions?

I did a search, but every single post resulted in the person just buying a o2 simulator kit, and all the posts were from like 2002. I was wondering if anyone has any tried and true wiring plans for a 02 sim. that won't cost more than $10. Thanks in Advance!!

I am looking for wiring diagrams and parts lists

the thing they are selling you has a circuit board which tells your ecu that evrything is running fine. i used to make circuit boards and there is alot involved so you are gonna have to buy a simulator unless you make rocket scientists look like complete dumbasses and have access to everything needed to manufacture your own board

You need resistors and a transistor. i am sure there are others. some people use a 555 resistor. but it could pull a CEL light as the 555 doesnt exactly replicate what teh 02 puts out. There are other parts here tose are some.

The 02simulator.com sim is top notch i run it and have no probs. i priced some parts and resistors and figures with what they offered in a nice little box that lit up and told me i did it right. i couldnt go wrong. tehy use a microprocessor not just a resistor and what not. you would also need to get some huge resistors to fake the heater. I chose to leave my 02 in so the heater doesnt pull a code.

I understand the wanting to build it yourself. but people just try to help. thats all. The best bet is to buy one. if you want to build it. there are some wiring diagrams i am sure on google. and i think there is one in teh archives somewhere. good luck to you. Jsut try not to use the 555 chip, if you can avoid it.

I hope i helped out a bit.
