For an alarm system, as long as its a DEI product then it should be okay. Cause i thought Compustar or Viper were the only ones, but since Hornets and autopage made by DEI there just as good, am I correct? I'm lookin for a 2 way remote start pager.

Also I met this guy at Rockville that was in the V6 Accord group and he gave me his number a few months back to do an install for an alarm on my car but i lost the number. i belived he worked at Best Buy, or if anyone else knows of a good installer of alarm let me know.

 

Last time I checked, compustar was not made by DEI.

 

Yeah and DEI does have some low end products. Sure they are still better than alot of the crap you'll find on the net, but spend a little extra dough and get the Viper name.

Ummmm...yeah I know Viper is a DEI product, I installed them for over 5 years. What I was getting at is dont buy the Wasp, Hornet, Rattler, etc. crap because even though it is a DEI product it is not up to par with the Viper product they produce.

Maybe before it was DEI you could say that, but now DEI sets the standard on how they are built. BTW the linup of DEI alarms/remote starts now is Viper,Clifford,Phyton,Avital,Hornet and Valet, 94

 

DEI and Viper technology are going to be the same so one is not going to be better then another it just depends on what you ie: remote start, keyless entry, or and alarm. Also if your still looking for an installer I can help you out I am an installer.

 

you should talk to the guys at myer -emco in gaithersburg there is a guy named Ata there hes kinda a dick but knows his alarm **** he works in the gaitersburg store
