Another Strange Idle, looking for some answers
Setup: LS/Vtec, stock intake mani, stock TB, kenji p28, stock fuel system.
1. I have the typical bouncing idle 1000-1700 when cold, but after it warms up, it idles at around 1200. When I tap the throttle in neutral, the motor will rev, then drop down to 750, then go right back up to 1200. Never heard of this happening before, wanted to get someone else's opinion.
2. I can't zero my ignition timing. moving the dizzy all the way in either direction still doesnt line up the timing marks. cams appear to be lined up, does this mean that the belt is off on the crank end?
3. Sound coming from head, sounds like LMA's or bent valves. Only happens at a certain rpm, which raises as the car warms up. can this be related to the crank timing being off possibly?
Throwing code 22 vtec oil pres., so no vtec, but its not in limp mode.
ANY advice would for any of these problems would be helpful! ive done searching on all these topics, havent found anything that directly relates to my situation. TIA

Did you recently get your car running? if so, you might have an air pocket in your cooling system that you'll need to bleed out. Air pockets in the cooling system tend to effect the idle.
You can try tightening your idle adjustment screw on your throttlebody (while the car is running).
You might have a vaccum leak.
check to see if your cams and crank are at TDC when at TDC (white mark on crank pulley & UP arrows on cams sprocket)..
