intake manifold swap, top mount throttle body to side mount throttle body
i have a 97 civic HB dx with a top mount throttle body, how difficult is it to swap it for a side mount? also, what kind of car does it need to come off of, and what problems can i run into by swapping this (what materials do you need.... any hoses or wires need to changed, etc.?) also, are there any benefits to doing this?

There is nothing BUT benefits to swaping the manifold. The stock one sucks. Do some research to see what you need. Off my head i can tell you that you need a manifold, manifold gasket, and throttle cable bracket for an EX. Good Luck!

I've acutally done this swap before, its not that hard at all. If you take a good look at it and start removing the parts everything becomes self explanatory. The 96+ EX intake manifolds bolt right up. Though I think you may need to change the DX throttle cable to the EX one.
