VTEC Oil Pressure Sensor Question....

Are the VTEC Pressure Sensors different through the different versions of B16? All the VTEC motors I have seen use a GREEN sensor mounted on the VTEC actuator assembly. But the B16A2 that I have doesn't have this sensor, and doesn't have threads or an opening where the sensor belongs. Are the B16A2's different in this aspect? I'll be using an OBD1 setup...

I've heard some JDM motors don't use this, and that you run that wire into the Vtec soleniod wire.

I just ran the a wire from the ECU pressure switch location to ground. I would still like to get a pressure switch as an extra precaution though.
