Harry's U-Pull-It
Anyone in North Eastern PA know if there are any civics/crxs with compatible parts for my 90 CRX at their Hazleton and/or Allentown sites? I have the day off on Friday and may head there for misc. parts etc. Thanks!
Long Pond, PA is where they hold the NASCAR races in PA. In the area of Mt. Pocono/Stroudsburg area. Near where routes 380 and 80 meet up.
Anyways, I called them and they basically said I'd have to go there to check it out. I was at one of there locations a few years ago when I was looking for some parts for a 1991 Dodge Caravan. Salvage yards rock! I'm hoping there'll be somethings I'll be able to use like a driver's and passenger side wheel well covers or whatever they're called, interior trim. They also have steel and alloy rims for cheap too! I'll post what I got if I do end up going there this Friday.

I was there not long ago and they didnt have ****. But there are days you can get good prices on parts if they have them. Here is the web site

Ya, I've been to their site. Did you go to the Hazelton site or the Allentown one? They're both fairly close (within an hour) and I have the day off on Friday anyways. It'll be something to do in the morning. Is one better than the other in regards to imports? I'm not expecting to find a B16 or anything like that...like I said before, I'm just looking for bits and pieces here and there.
I was at the hazleton one and the pennsburg one. Both had nothing when i was there but you may get lucky. As far as imports the hazleton one will have more.

I've found 1 of 2 things happens when you call a junkyard. Either they tell you you have to come and look or they tell you they have crx's and then you look all around and can't find any of them. Oh and they almost always get annoyed with you.
meh i dont like harrys i've called them they said yea we just go a XXXXXX in today

I never heard of Long Pond PA, before but I guess your close to where I go to college. I'm like 15 minutes away from you in Wilkes-Barre. If I didn't have class I would go with you. I"ve been their before, I would recommend a radio flyer or some type of wagon. I remember going their and I asked the guy where are the honda and acura's at. He said you mean the foreign section I was like
. He pointed and I walked about a half mile before I found the hondas with my damn 60lbs toolbox in my hand.
Sometimes they have stuff but usually people from NY come down and strip stuff whenever it comes in, good luck.

So I went down to the junkyard today with low expectations. Bundled up in multiple layers as it was a tad bit cold today. Found a couple 1st gen CRXs...one almost gutted and the other in fairly good shape. Fenders and rear quarters seemed to be in good condition. Dash mostly gone but seats seemed ok. Too bad I couldn't use anything off them for my 90 CRX. I did find several parts I could use to keep my car looking stock! A couple of mud flaps and sunvisors. Ooohhh exciting eh? Ohm and I also picked up a coolant reservoir as the ghetto " Poland Springs" setup the original holder had just sucked! I'm kiciking myself though for not picking up three Konig rims with Pirelli rubber on them. The 4th wheel was totaled. They were off a late model Civic that had been crashed. Engine was still there but the car had suffered a front end collision so I'm not sure if it was salvageable. When I came back to get the rims, someone had beat me to it. Damn...I could have sold the Pirellis...they still had some miles left to them too! Thinking about it now, I should have taken the shifter and **** too! Damn, damn, damn! Maybe I'll head to the Allentown location to see what's there. I hate second guessing myself!
