emissions test

Default emissions test

will a 1988 civic ,, with a header, cold air intake, and a performance exhuast pass emissions?

It should.... as long as all your stuff is CARB approved and passes visual.

Like not having the vacuum hose hooked up from the valve cover to the intake arm

when the motor is stock a lot of those places dont even bother running the carb #'s.i had a no brand intake with a breather pass smog,like 3 years ago other that that it was just a stock 94 civic ex.

everything is hooked up nothing has been moved.. all the lines are the same just added parts would that be ok?

Maybe... maybe not, BUT it is part of their job and they can enforce it if they want to.

Maybe just take the box with you and throw it on if they don't want to pass you on the visual. It's easy enought to change out in a couple minutes. You don't even need to bolt it in all the way or anything.

IL has no visual. I could have all the bolt on's i wanted and throw a bottle of Never-Fail in it and pass with flying colors.
