i have a bet with this guy that has a b16a turbo in a ek 99. Mine is a b18c-r in a EGCX.

Am building up my engine to win this one. Any ideas how can i gain 240WHP in a NA Engine?

Parts that i has so far:
Spec 98 Type-R Engine
SKunk2 Stage 3 cams
Hayame Adj Cams
CTR Pistons
290 Injectors
65mm Throttle
AEM Fuel Rail and Reg
ICEMAN Intake
P30 Chipped

No air cond
No power stearing

Dude you don't need any of that crap. Just get 2 bottles of NOS and a BIG TURBO and don't forget about that Motec engine Yo

 

You will need a fully built B series, or a k-swap with bolt-ons and tuning

 

Ha ha, the iceman intake is definitely a must though!

 

Thats a pretty bold goal to try to reach. Why the hell would you want 240whp? I certainly hope you aren't comparing all motor whp to turbo whp... because its different when it comes to the 1320. I would say that you will not be reaching 240whp anytime soon with those mods.

The guy is using a Greedy Turbo Kit, and am using slicks, he is going for street tires.

Well, with the Greddy kit on a B16 in a hatch, he should easily hit mid 13's on street tires if its intercooled.

Oh yeh forgot to add, those Cam gears you got will add some major HP! NOT!!!!!

 

greddy kits are garbage! your setup should be good for high to mid 12's you better have some head work done! mill the head 30 thousandths port and polish! you should be fine i 'd also go with a hondata s100. good luck!

i would guess a stock b16turbo in a ek runs mid13's on slicks.low 13's to high 12's on with what you got.but the stage 3's ????thats even more crazy man.

Stock B16 Turbo I ran a 13.2 on street tires in my crx and my EK weighs less than it. I'm sorry but your R is going to get it's *** handed to you. When will people start to realize that the R is hype.

 

how does your EK weigh less than a CRX?

 

Because my crx weighs 2265 and my ek weighs 2242?
