security question??????????
i picked up a honda tuning mag yesterday and i was reading that there was a way you could take out your cigarette lighter to disable the starter? or another way you could do it is with your seat belt like your car won't start unless you have your seat belt clipped in so if anyone knows how to do so let me know thanks.
Disable starter with cig. lighter? I don't know what kind of car this is but if its a civic I dont think it has a cig. lighter. I am not sure how this one goes.
Seat belt, you could use the seat belt trigger (its negative polarity i believe). Get a relay, one terminal should be constant hot, the input should be to the key hole, output should be to starter, the ground should go to the seatbelt. Put an inline fuse in the hot for extra protection. Its not that great of an idea.
Either get an alarm and or fuel pump cut switch. The guys who boost cars are very creative so you just have to think like a crook here. With an alarm (depending on brand you could wire a ghost switch).
