help security code
i just bought a 99 ex cd player forma fellow ht member, i called up honda and there giving me bs about the security code. can anyone help me obtain the code?

nah i kno this site that you pay em like 5 bucks they get you the code but its a damn code im not gonan pay 5 bucks for it

I just had to give them the radio and they got me the code. Maybe your local honda dealership is just a bunch of ******.
If all else fails why not just pay $5, better that than have a useless CD player.

just ask the guy you were you bought that one the code?
or ask him the honda dealership number where he bought his car (if he bought it brandnew)
cause i got mine from the honda dealer where the first owner bought the car

some dealers charge $90 for it!!!! like the honda dealer at OPEN ROAD RT1 NEW JERSEY!
HONDA PRINCETON (where the 1st owner bought the car) NJ the best! they just ask me my vin number and gave me the code right away through phone

I had to pay $15 to retrieve the code from Hondas golden book of codes. You have to provide regristration and ID to verify that this is your car. I also provided insurance (vin #)paperwork because they wouldnt give it out because the car wasnt registered to me.

well if you go on ebay theres a ebay store just search for honda security code i thinks its like 7 bucks for the code. they send it right to your email
