Default Projekt Re-build::Boosted EK UPDATE

well, the car went into the paint booth today to get the engine bay painted. I never had it done when i had the car painted, so i figured while the motor is being re-built, i might as well do it.

Thanks to Phil at Baltimore Body for doing an un-******-believable job

Before (Ugly *** engine bay)

Prep Work

Car in the booth after sealer

Primer/Sealer

Mixing the paint

Spraying the first coat of EBP

In Between 1st and 2nd coat

After 2 coats of clear and baking it

Close up of Core Support

Close Up of Shock Tower

Other things I am planning to do to the engine bay are:
-Wire Tuck
-Converting to Steel Braided Clutch line (cleans it up a lot)
-moving HID ballasts into the fenders
-Getting some kind of Bling Bling strut bar (mugen, carbing, etc)
-Putting my new motor back in it

Not sure exactly, but I want everything to be done by track season. I have been busy at work, no time to get things rollin with the motor.

Havent decided what setup to do, maybe 2.0ltr, or maybe 1.8, whatever my pocket will allow for

Yeah, i was thinking some sort of black, since my car colors are mainly blue and black. How much does powdercoating normally run?
