I guess he'll find out tomorrow/wednesday whenever USPS delivers them.

Seriously though, i dont know what the deal is with USPS locally lately but they been like losing boxes in there building or something. I shipped Strait Line Specialties a big order 2nd day air from USPS and he got it like 5 or 6 days later. I was pissed.

Came in 4 days, but that monday as a holiday so it was probably like 3 days. So far i've gotten everything i ordered in a timely manner.

When you place an order you should check stock. You cant always assume he has them ready to ship same day. And if not it may take him a few days to get some cut but its worth the wait for the price. 1/2" SS is VERY expesnive so i could see why he wouldn't have huge quantities sitting around.

I have been trying out FedEx lately...sort of a trial basis. their website sucks and isn't very user friendly, but it seems their prices have come down a LOT lately....likely in order to compete more with UPS and USPS for the "residential" and individual shipping. In the past, they really only specialized in business shipping, and that's changing.

Check them out. You may save some money. From my experiences, they have been dependable with no problems on either end. You can get an account with them, print labels online (as with the other companies), schedule pickups if needed, or drop off without waiting in lines and filling out forms. USPS has typically been higher on medium sized items, but best on small items and low weight. UPS had always been my choice for larger items...but FedEx is getting a chance at stealing that business. If their website didn't suck, they'd likely have already won that battle.

Fed Ex seems to be cheaper all around. When i order in bends some come Fed Ex some come UPS, the Fed Ex is always about half the price.

Problem is the FedEx ground station around here is like 10-15 miles away and i dont have time to drive that far every day. And i dont want to pay to have a pickup everyday. UPS is about 2 miles away and USPS is about 1 mile away.

exploit .. i still havent gotten my t25 threaded flange .. usps suks for shipping stuff .. expecailly if u have a buissness .. do it right . ups or fed ex .. hell even dhl .. u looose money from unsatisified customers .. not by your fault but by not recinving them in the mail .. even tho u shiped it out ..
dam take a buissness class or something seriously ..

tag about .75 to 2.00 on your flanges to cover ups pick up fees .. your prices will still be lower then most .. look online for misprinted boxes or over-run boxes that will hold your biggest size flange .double wall.( the box u send me first time was just plain shitty seriously.) and order a pile of em.. that way its the same box size going out . even if u can fit 4-5 flanges or 1 t3 flange .. i dont think the box will exceed ups/usps/fedex...ext dimensional box wieghts. so it will go as what it wieghts ..

i work at a import warehouse as .. u guess it ..
shipping and reciving ..

i pack orders all day long .. and i told my employer we could save lots of money on shipments if u got a "universal size" box .. that didnt exceed 30lbs over dimensional box wieght .. and the box would go as actual weight .. now when i ship out 100 masks i fit it in the universal box and say it weights 12lbs .. to ship it ups is say 7$.. well befor i got ther .. they were shipping **** out in oversize boxes and even tho the box was 12lbs ..we were forced to pay for 30lbs of wieght b/c of the size of box .. customers not happy and never heard from again.

now we save alot on shipping , customers happy .. and so am i .. got a 2.00$ raise just last dec after only working 3month.

thats y i know some of u buy stuff from a company and say its a small pice like a guage or sensor ext .. it most likely then not come in a too big of a box that was needed .. well shipper dosnt care b/c weather it was a exact fit box or slightly bigger .. they still would have payed the same to ship it .

i just have seen way too many companies charge up the azz for shipping (b/c they whant to make some money on the shipping as well)
now that u know your facts and know that a box that dosent exceed a 30lb class should only cost / what it weighs in pounds to ship .dont let companies rip u.packing materials must also be figured into the price but when u see a bov or gauge say 20shipped thats wack ..and its just profit hidden in the shipping cost

i will get the exact measurement for u guys later .. its a chain i have at work that i wrap around the box and see if it goes as "own wieght" or over 30, over 70 ext ..

if a box measures over 84inch .. girthxlenght .. it cannot go ups,fed,usps..ext

p.s sorry for the spelling its 2am and cant sleep ..
peace out
