I own a bone stock 90 si with 170 grand on the clock. I've put roughly 40 thousand on it since I bought it. I've read something about using ATF to clean out the motor, is this true? I'm still in high school and i need to freshen up my motor as much as possible , so i can get agood basline before i start moding. Hopefully acleaner engine won't lock up as easily

check out a product called sea foam in the search feature on the board there is alot of information on it and i hear it works pretty damn good. I have yet to use it though

 

hey, I have used the sea foam stuff, and it works great. Also just the simple things do help out, the fatser your car can get clean air in and exhaust out, the better it will run. A good header is what you need after you do a real good tune up. Good luck.
