dx tranny swap with cx tranny..
hey, i have a 94 dx HB, and uhh my transmission is ****** gone, bearings are worn the **** out... and i was wondering, what if i put a CX tranny on a DX model... would it matter..?? thanks.. i searched... no luck.
Sure you can do it.
The CX gearing is longer though, so your overall acceleration will be slower. At least you'll get better fuel mileage though

ya the cx tranny isnt the same as far as gear ratios go. the CX will be slower to get up to speed from 3rd gear and up and wont have as high of top speed (i think it is that way). final drive on dx is 4.250 and the cx is 3.250.
but if you are just looking for 1 that runs it will bolt up

well, I read your Sig and since youre looking for an ls motor with the tranny, why dont you just got whichever one is cheaper so you dont waste as much money so youll have it for the ls swap? just my input, probably dumb.
