Brake pedal drops to the floor, dunning out of ideas
I swapped the brakes between my EX & DX so I could have big brakes on the faster car. Now the EX is having problems. The pedal drops all the way to the floor, but you can pump it up. I replaced the master cylinder & bench bled it, also bled all the wheels. no air is comming out anywhere, but it keeps on doing it. no signs of a leak either.
Any ideas?

maybe hook up a T fitting to a vacume guage between the intake manifold and the booster.
maybe the one way valve in that line is bad...
Thats easy to test, Take it out and blow in one end, and blow in the other. it should only accpet air one one.

the booster will have nothing to do with the pedal dropping.
I swapped front spindle assemblies and master cylinders. That is all.

If you bled all the lines the proper way, maybe even several times and the pedal is still going to the floor, then the problem has to be in the master cylinder. Try using your old one. Did you pick one from a junkyard?
if there is no atmosheric pressure then it wont pressure, giving you petal firm ness...
take off that line going to the intake manifold on a normal car and the petal willl go to the floor.

keep on thinking that buddy
intake manifold vacuum has nothing to do with hydraulic circuit pressure.
I am after all a tech @ a Honda dealership. I am just running out of ideas other than the calipers are fucked, and i dont want to replace them unless i know for sure.
