Default Car wont rev past 4500....help please!!

car and setup is: 94 Civic DX with SOHC VTEC with Greddy turbo kit.

Ever since i did the swap from b7 to z6 i cant get my car to run right. But the main problem is that my car wont rev past 4500 rpms. when it reaches this point it just sounds like its rev limiting. Doesnt buck or hesitate. Just limits. No CELs and i cant think of anything already. Can someone help me?

check all of your grounds. a bad or non conductive ground can cause this problem.

would a lot of grounding a lot of things at one spot do this? Is this safe or unsafe? The one thats behind the thermostat housing has i think 3 or 4 wires. How many grounds are there normally too? this should help me quicker...

ballpark guess but it could also be the fuel pump.
had a car that wouldn't go past 3500 rpm, changed the fuel pump and voila.

yeah but what i meant was in addition to the wires thats on the stock wire harness i added grounds for my inline fuel pump, fog light relay thing, and something else that i cant remember i think. Could this interfere with a good ground?

as long as they are seperate components i wouldn't worry about it. This is why the ground for the ecu is different from the other grounds going to the ecu, such as map sensor ground and others, so that the signal doesn't get distrorted.
