Default fabric spray paint questions

im almost done converting my integra over to a black interior. the only things left that are that ugly *** tan are the seats and the carpet. i was at the auto parts store the other day and came across that fabric paint in the aresol cans. my question is has anyone used it before? how well does it work? i dont wanna do my carpet and have my car smell like spray paint for a month im not gonna do my seats im gonna get some recaros or some black race seats. my wallet hasnt decided on which yet if anyone could let me know if they used it and the results ( if you got pics even better) i would be greatly appriciative since its hard to find carpet that isnt a mess. mine is in great shape just tan

I use it at work for stains that dont come out.

Dont waste your money and time, it will wear off after about a week of you sitting on your seats... your carpet will last a little longer but not much.

Just save for carpet and seats!

i wasnt gonna do my seats just my carpet. i figure with some mats over the carpet and since no one sits in the back it would last. i cant find any carpet for my car thats in good shape. i think the 4dr integra carpet is diffrent too than the 2dr. maybe im wrong?

i did mine with the Duplicolor vinyl fabric paint. took my light grey interior to black. it actually turned out really well. it was stiff for the first couple weeks but after getting worn in it got soft again, and didnt lose the color. i would recommend doing it when its nice enough outside to drive with your windows down though....you might get a little light headed from the fumes.
my flash on my camera is really bright and is making the seats look lighter than they really are, but you get the idea. yea they have faded a little bit, but i also did it in august i think, so 6 months isnt too bad.

if your gonna use floor mats and usually dont carry passengers, id do it. From my understanding, interior paint holds up pretty well

I used dupli-colour fabric pant on my rear seats and door panels and it came out great...just make sure you apply even coats and let them dry. I did alot of coats and mine came out pretty dark.

Tommorow I'll try and get some pics!

just a thought:

paint the carpet black and put down black floor mats, then the carpet wouldnt have a reason to wear cuz your feet would be on the black mats.

What i would like to know is if i can use this on the upper headboard (roof) I purchased my car used and theres black stains from who knows what up there and i want to paint that if possible. But what i worry about is if i apply something such as paint or any type of liquid to it will it sag down like them old *** cars do. Someone please let me know a solution to a dirty roof! Thanks!

a sorry *** team? your right we suck. we just ended the pats winning streak and beat 2 undefeated teams. i wouldnt really call it choking its a rookie qb and bad play calling coupled with the fact that our secondary is weak and always has been, bottom line is we lost 2 times the entire season and to good teams. im from pittsburgh and im damn proud of it no matter what the steelers do so your 12 year old little kid comments mean nothing to me. i cant go back and paint my interior or it would already have been painted so why would i want/need to paint it again?! also its BUTT hurt not but you ****** moron. oh and whats your deal with weird men with homosexual traits? seems your all about them like burt renyolds and mr. bob saget. anyways back to the topic im gonna pick up some of the black tomorrow and try it out on some old mats i have and see how it works
