Whitish exhaust smoke while the engine is cold may be consider normal. But after warmup, white smoke may indicate water or coolant has turned to steam in the combustion camber. Most likely a cracked cylinder head or a blown, misaligned, or over torqued head gasket.......i hope this helps

1 lb won' t make a difference. most torque wrenches are innacurate by that anyways. do a compression test to see whats it is. also did you untorque and retorque the head in the proper sequence?

your compression numbers don't really mean a whole lot. its just when one or more is different than your others. Thats when you know you have a leak somewhere. i.e. valves, rings, headgasket.

what do you mean by clogging the tb? Like cover the entire hole???
