Can you turn the flywheel on 1997 honda civic? My friend told it
is not recommend to turn a fly. Is this true?

Yes, I did a search. When I entered turn flywheel = 0 results.
enter flywheel everything that came back was for stuff for sale.

 

Yes you can. Just take it to a good machine shop and they will tell you what is possible. ie lightening or how muhc is left

 

I have heard that napa offers that service. Or they refer people shops that are napa dealers. something like that.

 

yes you can do it but only within factory specs.

 

I shaved mine, just make sure you send it out to get balanced afterwords.
