Default Accord Type-R Transmission

What is the gear ratios and/or what does each gear top out at. I want to put the transmission on my H22, cause the gears are too long.

Thanks for your time

do you mean the accord euro-r??....or the EDM accord type-r....well, both used the same drivetrain to my knowledge, so never mind that.....frankly, if your using the h22a tranny, that gearing is very good.....i cant imagine how much shorter you want......remember, no 6 speed was made for the H engine, so if your gears are too short, you'll be doing 4+k rpms on the highway

2nd and 3rd are shorter. The rest is the same as 97-01 ludes. I think.

You will love it for a couple months. And then wonder why you spent the money and time to get it after the effect wears off.

The kind of driving I do? I like to do a few street races here and there. I just want something that is really quick, yeah I guess the ATR tranny wouldn't be worth the money. The gears are fine, but a shorter second and third would be cool. Thinks for the info guys, I appreciate it!

Street racing is irresponsible and does not prove much. Might as well go hunting squirrels at central park.

what kind of tranny are you currently using? the regular h22 tranny has pretty short 2nd and 3rd gears as it is...in fact, 5th is so short that 3500-4500 rpm's are typical for highway driving...
