Quick question, my buddy has a b18c1 swapped into his 96 coupe. All the mounts are in place except for the upper tranny mount - so, 4/5 are done. The thing has been tack welded, but not completely finished. The guy who started the weld is MIA now, and the car has been sitting in my garage for about 8 weeks now. Someone else was supposed to come finish the weld, never showed, blah blah. Unfortunately, I still live at home, so it's not *my* garage and the parentals are getting impatient. My question is, would 4/5 mounts plus the tack weld on the upper tranny mount be strong enough just to get the car on a flatbed and get it towed about 8 - 10 miles to someone else's garage? Even if the tack weld did snap, would the other 4 mounts be able to hold the engine and tranny in place for that short of a distance?

Should be ok. My buddy only has 3/4 in his CRX and doesn't have any problems.
