Default a loss of power ?

Well ever since it got cold my car bin acting werid in 1st gear. When i drive in 1st gear and take it up to 3,000 rpm i feel like the car loses some power( like i let go of the gas for a sec) and gets it back soon after i feel the car do this.... If i floor it i dont feel the car do it. only when i drive it normal or take it up slow. it is werid. Only does it in cold weather so im thinking that is the problem ... does anyone else have this problem?

my car runs better in the cold weather (as it should) since the air is less dense. are you letting your car warm up first?

ummm, air is more dense in the cold weather. more air + more fuel (yay for computers to do this automatically) = more power = faster when it's cold out.

Cold air is denser which has more oxygen. ECU sees this and adds more fuel but at low rpms it doesnt need it so it may be causing this. No big deal, just let it warm up for about 30secs. What kind of oil are you using?

i do let the car warm up still does it. It only does it when it is cold because when it warmed up a bit it stoped so i guess your right. maybe the ECU is doing it.
