I finally got these uploaded from when I was in Cali. Here are some pics of my Uncle's Porsche. Its all original bodied with original wheels. The motor is a detuned crate race motor. Not the best pics but I thought I'd share. The car now has a custom rollbar and some Recaro's and my uncle will be racing it with bunch of porsche guys this year. Thanks for looking.

Speedsters are one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. i'd like to own one and pretend to be James Dean one day. well, minus the whole tragic accident part.

He had to change it. The original seats don't provide adequate support and use lap belts only. My uncle is 6'4" and has had surgury on his back and needed a "fixed" supportive seat and harnesses to race the car how he wants to. Since he is running the car at the tracks now and has the harnesses he also needed a rollbar for safety and since it is a convertable.

Nice car! But, not a Speedster. More like a later 1960 356 "B" roadster, right? The "Speedster" models were 356 "A" bodied pre-1959 cars. What is he asking for the car?
The images below are of the pre-'59 Speedsters, big difference in value. Note the lower roofline and side-window shape, rounded corners on the windshield and lower bumpers.

The car is a "Speedster" I believe its a 1957 to be exact but I'm not sure. Look at the pics you posted and the ones I did. The only difference is the chrome front bumper, which is a Porsche factory part for the car.

Not that it matters, but the pictures shown were of early/Pre-A while your Uncles is definatly a B series... Still a beautiful car though.....
My garage is currently lusting for a preA bumperless bent windscreen 356 coupe.
