Hey what up guys? Hey what kinda axles are you guys running? I'm looking for something that'll hold about 500whp plus? Also what size rims/slicks are you guys running? Brake clearing issues?

I'll be running DR for the time being till I get more info. Thanks guys for any feed back

Forced induction and drag racing forums are a good place to look.

500whp axles are 500whp axles regardless if you have an "R" sticker on the side of your car or not.

i was running Advanced Auto axles and they held good until i started 2nd gear burnouts on Dr's. DSS or Gators are the way to go, just bite the bullet and get stage 5-6

im running stock axles right now, broke my fist stock axle with 95k on them at the end of racing last year( still able to limp 1.5 hours home from the track). im looking into getting some gator axles for mine, they're a little less than drive shaft shop, axles but that will be your choice on what you wanna spend. as for rims im runnin 15x6.5 regamasters, i have a 5mm spacer for the 225/50/15 drag radials i run everday, but they still rub a little at full steering lock. as far as slicks , i havent ran them yet, but when i do they'll be the 24.5x8x15( i think thats the size) and i'll use a 15x7" rim.

gator stage 2 for me, I've never run slicks but I feel more piece of mind when I'm wheel hopping down the track. I just can't make the stockers last.

I think because even the guys with the ITR's, or any hondas, whom are making high power on the board, are lurking in the forced induction and drag forums.

I think you should rethink how you were looking at things.

Also, to give you further insight:
-bogart is the way to go for you, wheel wise. Dont play around with it, run some good slicks, or even a radial, on those. If not, then a 15x7 slip will do the job just fine, unless you have to have the real deal.
-Driveshaft shop stage 2 or 3 will even hold it. You will not be ******* the car everyday, and if my friends local can use stock axles with a 517hp gsr and hold up on em for over 6months of street racing, you can use those stage 2 or 3's all day long.
-as far as a radial goes, you will do well with some Michelins, or Nittos. They both hold up, as i have used both. Toyo has one, but im not sure how good it holds up, because i have never used it personally. You should look into traction bars when running radials.

Bogarts are the way to go for running slicks.
For radials Stockers are more then fine. If not step up to a 7inch wide wheel
Michelins for DR's? Wouldnt trust them , Nittos usually suck for there DR's too
BFG is the top dog for sticky DR's right now. YOu will break axles on them though. Eventually it will happen. If you plan on racing it alot, just get the bigger axles and be done with it. If not get stage 3's and run the risk of breaking them.

You should look into traction bars reguardless if its a FWD car. They help a ton

I run stock, but again see above ^^^ 222 ft-lbs torque with the Action 1MD, I'd have to do something pretty stupid to snap an axle

m going with the Gator stage 3's. They utilize a 300M materials for high aggressive launch and larger slicks (up to 26" tall and 9" wide). They are rated at 650-700whp which is going to be more then enough. Also they do not requires any hub change, so you can retain the stock honda hub without compromising drivability and streetability. (Dam sounds like I'm trying to sell these things huh?)

Anyway, Stunna, I read in those 2 forums allot. Plus I hit up Tony and Art with tons of questions as well as Kenny from Jotech (who is building the motor for me) and get everyone's point of view on things. I drive a ITR so I figured I'd ask another ITR guy or gals what they thought, feel me? Not that bigga deal but I'll post questions related to my R here before I post it in the regular Integra forum....that's what this forum is about. I has always and will always feel if you don't have anything to contribute to a topic just dont even click on it. I mean if you wanna read it and maybe take something outta it then ok...but dont tell me to post my question some where else just cuz there's someone in there who might could answer my question too if I could get answers here. Anyway I wasted enough time on that.

Once again thanks to all the ITR pimps who helped!

Good grief sorry for trying to direct you to another forum.

If I said something like "hey you dumb **** get out of here" I could see you getting ticked, but I didn't.

I accept your future apology
