dpfi-mpfi complete just a lil problem please help

Default dpfi-mpfi complete just a lil problem please help

hi everyone i finished my swap today but i cant get timing on the dot
teh car runs and everything but boggs when i floor i TDC everything and after mess wit dizzy then ried 1-2 teeth advanced the 1-2 retarted the car still boggs and it sounds like a wrx lol does not have a misfire oh ya and my head is milled to the fullest so please give me suggestions on wut to check how to set the timing different if head is milled n so on thank u

it was up n running last night just had a little timing problem bogging at WOT and detonating i parked it running started it once to make sure then shut it off today i come to start theres no spark but hasnt been touched since last night and i put in new gas a week ago it has 1/4-1/2 tank the wiring all tight n all

k, It sounds like you Changed the head too???? or just in intake??? you put a new Timming belt on???? And you changed the Dizzy.... Any smoke???

TDC or Crank Ang.???? check the stuff for that. Also, your connections for your TPS..just double check everything!!!!! Best of luck

ya the head is changed to a milled zc head and im runnin the si dizzy timing belt waterpump cap n rotor on dizzy changed also

and y would it sound like a wrx at low rpms then after it zips i got a 5zigen exhaust on 2 1/4 inch piping

how can i check if distributor is out or not i used crimpers for my wiring like a moron now i gota deal wit loose connections and bullshit like that

i got the complete engine harness for it and realized im gonna need the other side too(interior) so tomorrow im gonna get the other harness also the reason im gettin both harnesses so it comes out clean but i think my dizzy is out

and one question is it complicated to take off the dash to do the wiring?

my white dx hatch came with a sohc zc in it and the guy worked at honda,didn't wanna wire it so he bought engine/jumper/interior and put the whole thing in,i guess it looks cleaner and more stock that way....

im gettin both harnesses for 250 thats a very good deal thinkin bout the other places that wanted 400 i want it to be clean and i dont want any worries

What ecu? Go through all your wires and pin swaps...If its a DOHC ZC then your timing was off..I had mad trouble getting mine on TDC-it would always shift a degree on the intake cam when Id try and tension the timing belt. Replacing the dash and interior harness is time consuming. Try and go through the wiring. I have step by step directions....

no its a single cam zc im plannin a single cam monster haha i got about 5 g's to pour into this motor i wanna change the whole harness so its clean especially cause i wanna gut it out i want it clean but u think timing would have caused dizzy to go out?
