My 04 CRF250R has this crazy knock at idle. I just broke it in and i cant tell if its piston knock or the valves? Or maybe this is normal? I havent ruled out the possibility of bad gas either?

 

My freind has a crf250 on he has to frequently adjust the valves on it. Maybe that is where the noise is coming from.

 

Does anyone know what is a good interval to adjust valves are? Also should i swap to SS valves or titaniam valves?

 

I heard that if you switch to a TWO STROKE, you won't have to worry about all that valve adjusting, $500+ top end rebuilds and chewing up sprockets every 5 rides. I think the knock is normal by the way, but you are due for a valve adjustment.

 

Yeah i thought it was the valves but my powervalve on my old CR didnt do it hahahah. Oh AZHATCH dont hate cause my thumper is faster then your Hatch MMMUUUHAHAHAHAHHAHAA!!!!!!!
