h22 crx questions

Default h22 crx questions

i have just recently bought my first car, which happens to be 91 crx si.i've seen a few crx h22 swaps and i was thinking of doing it. but can you still fit the turbo in the engine bay, cause it looks like it would be alittle snug. please help me with this question.

well since as im sure you know youll be making your own mounts to put the h22 in the car, you can place the engine as far back towards the firewall as you like.

one of the first people to successfully do this swap has since pulled it to put a turbo on it, so he would be the man to ask but it will fit a turbo as long as you use a half size radiator, like from an EG.

Actually, if this isn't going to be an immediate swap, you could hold off on making you're own mounts and wait until a company releases them, such as ENJO, which is currently developing them. (http://www.enjoracing.com/engine_mounts_swap.html)

I find this ironic. When was the last time you checked this webpage? The reason I ask this is because it seems now they offer the h-series mounts. Part number: EM88H. However, the price is TBA. I guess we gotta try and call them.
