I have a 95 ex...with a hidro tranny...so my question is...If I put in the cable SI tranny with my jdm d16 then would it be a lot better?

Oh, you mean doing a cable to hydro tranny swap. Don't do it, not worth it at all. It's WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY to much work.

What cable si tranny are we talking here? The 91 SI? Either way man, theres no reason to, you have a better tranny and better gearing already. Some people go with cable but honeslty i see no reason for it.

actually the 92-95 SI had 0.750 5th gear ratio while the EX had a 0.702 5th gear ratio but same in other ratios

Yeah I've had both the EX and 5th gen Si trannies and they're practicaly identical... the difference is barely noticeable
