i was wondering if it is possible to polish my brake caliper. have anyone tried this before? do you think i can polish it by using the same method as polishing a valve cover? help me out.

 

I am sure you could, but WHY????? It's your car do what you want but not only do I think that would be a pain in the *** and stupid but how the hell would you keep them clean? To much brake dust you would have to clean them way to much.. But if you are all about show then I guess it don't matter.

Are they cast iron or aluminum? If they're cast iron, they will be covered in rust in about a week.

 

I don't think it's going to turn out like you think it will. Your best bet it just clean them, paint them and be happy with that. If you happen to paint your calipers yellow some other H-T member, not be be named, will make fun of you and call you gay. But it's your ride so do what you like!!

 

you should spray paint them light blue and write spoon on them with crayon

Now, about those calipers. No I have not tried it but I know you can definitely have them polished because people on motorcycles do it all the time. Go to any bike shop and ask for for a reference.
