Two nights ago my gsr i was stolen from a friends house in Arlington Tx. I got a call this morning from the police saying it was recovered but it was stripped and towed to a junkyard! AH Ive given the police a report over the phone about what happened, what else do i need to do, i had full coverage but i still owe 11.5k on the car! Any help would b greatly appreiated.
Well make sure you report this to your insurance and they will give you the value of the car minus the deductible. Your insurance will pretty much take over from here.....
Another teg gone
wish i could say i was suprised but obviously no one is. I know in my area anyway.. it has to be the most stolen car. Especially stock GSR's... with no precaution for thieves, thats the way they like it. This is why everyone should look into wiring up some kill switches or some fuel cut off's. Also pull the ecu when ever your car is gonna be parked at the same location for a long period of time. I just recently picked up a viper pager alarm, i know it doesnt stop them but it has 2 horns that you can hear 2 blocks away. I also got a clutch lock, they dont do much but whatever takes more time for them to steal it the better right.
Sorry to hear that, people have no morals or respect these days
EDIT: Thieves, doesnt get any lower then that in my book!

Sorry about your loss. I recieved the same call from the cops a little over a year ago. I finnaly got it back together and ready to drive next week. Before I put the interior and wheels on, I did the fuel pump cutoff mod. Nothing short of a flatbed will get now. Everybody, Please do the cutoff now. It only takes an hour of your time.

I think you have to have gap insurance if you owe more than its worth.
