i have a 89 automatic crx-dx. i have an opportunity to get 95 civic. i was woundering if the parts off the civic, like all the shafts and axels, brackets, mounts, linkage, would fit my car.

Which car would you be moving parts to? I need more info. Are you looking to do an auto to manual swap?

The transmisions are different... civic is a hydraulic and the 89 is a cable tranny. I dont think the 92-00 d-series trannys mount the same way either... and as far as I know, no one makes bolt in mount kits for it.... so you would have to fab the entire swap yourself... not really worth the trouble. axles are longer too I think... someone correct me if I am wrong.
