DIY : Bore A6 Intake Mani... Best Way?
Just curious about boring my a6 intake manifolds runners.. i have all 4 cleaned (lookin brand new), but before i just bore it out i want some feed back...
-Does it matter is some port/ports are different size BUT close?
-I am using 345 c injectors and getin a SAFC to tune...
Ohh yea i have a DREMEL and all the attachments to do it..

It's a waste unless you port your head too. Otherwise the IM runners will be larger than the head ports and the extra air flowing through wil just hit the sides of the head creating turbulence and not really accomplishing anything.

thats is true, its basically like boring out your TB and and not port matching the IM...but i thought maybe it will still get a lil something, cause i mean its FREE!!! DIY!!!

Up for you, because I also plan to do this. My idea was to smooth the plenum of an AEBS IM manifold out myself using a Dremel tool with atatchments...I don't currently have one, or a car for that matter, to try this out on. Any articles I can read in the mean time?
