whats the average price for coil overs...?

 

depends on what you mean when you say coilovers, if you mean just the sleaves like ground control style it would be on average about 300, and if you want a coilover like tein or jic your looking on average of 1600

Do you guys think you'd need the big dollar coilovers for a street setup? I'm wondering if a daily driver would take full use of 'true' coilovers like tein.

you dont need real coilovers for street driving by real coilovers i mean tein, jic, apex, even for auto crossing you dont need them.

 

Yea, I'm wondering if real ones are really worth it. I know a lot of people rip on Ground Controls because they are 'fake' sleeved coilovers. I'm probably gonna go with a GC/Koni Yellow Setup.

i am very happy with my set up right now, i am running groundcontrols with tokico illumina's and st sway bar with a rear upper and lower dc bar

 

I am happy with my setup. I have upper front and rear strut bars along with Ground Control coilovers and Koni Yellow adjustable shocks. They ride a little harsh even on the softest setting but I like it. Handles great.
