Ok here's the deal. I just had 95 EX door panels, power windows, power locks, and an alarm installed on my 92 Civic Si hatch. everything looks clean, other than the fact that I may need a new switch for the driver's side window. the keyless entry works fine as well.

however, on the drive home from the shop, I noticed that my accelaration was hella phucked up. 1st gear thru 3rd is really choppy, not smooth at all. on the freeway, on 4th or 5th gear is painfully slow. I had the gas pedal floored, and the car was barely breaking 80 mph. when I came to a stop, I smelled something burnt.

question is, is it possible the installers messed something up? if they did, what can it be?

 

maybe they took your car for a joy ride.
