same auto tranny?
Do Civics and Integras have the same type of auto transmission for the year, I am going to rebuild a b series auto tranny with the kit from JEGS and want to know which kit to get for my auto trans, its a 2000 LS. Any info would be appreciated.
wow you have to ask really dumb questions to get a response on this forum, that or nobody knows has an answer, search ****'s just back off or find me an answer.
Not quite sure what you're asking here. Isn't it just straight forward to buy the kit for your car (i.e. whatever kit was made for the auto tranny on an 00 LS teg?)
Regardless, I highly doubt that Civic and teg auto tranny parts would be interchangeable, since you can't mount a D series tranny to a B series block and vice versa...and since USDM Civics came with D series, (cept the 99-00 SI, and the newest gen Civics, I'm just generalizing here, say 88-00), I'm thinking the tranny parts aren't going to be interchangeable. And the 99-00 SIs were only available in 5 speed (correct me if I'm wrong) like the ITR and GSR (I know my tegs better then Civics).
So to sum it all up I'de say just get the kit for an 00 LS auto...seems pretty straight forward and simple.
Oh yah, you might also get more responses if you don't get pissed at poeple for not answering your question. Most of us deal with manuals so we're not as familiar with autos...I can name every manual tranny code for a 2nd gen teg and tell you what years they were used, but I couldn't name a single auto tranny code, and hell my first teg was auto...

yah it would make sense to just buy the kit for the tranny in the car, unfortunately the only kits offered are for "honda" and list the years but nothing else. bump Im just gonna swap in a GSR motor and tranny.
