Whats the STIG ? help please. lsvtec bogs until 3000 rpms...
trying to find out what this is and why it would happen running a chipped P28 ecu with a type r program .. and it also bogs slightly if ur not really on the throttle when vtec engages.. we have a gsr motor in a hatch and an lsvtec in an integra with the same program and they are doing the same thing..

where did you find this "STIG"?i have no clue what you're talking about.
is the timing in spec on both cars?
if it's doing the same thing in both cars that leads me to believe the program is crap.try a P72 in the GSR,and a P30 or some other DOHC VTEC ECU in the LS/VTEC car.

it was the fuel curve.. vtec was set lower .. to kick in at about 5 grand.. and it did but the fuel was not there for it .. so we ran a ls fuel curve and have the vtec kicking in at stock gsr kick in point for the lsvtec and redline(rev limit) at 8100 rpms and on the gsr in my hatch i have it at.. 5 grand kicking in vtec and rev limit is at 8500.. im liking it now and this program works great my car is running like a champ now. we had street races last night and i got to race an srt-4 slightly modded at my 1 mile above sea level this srt-4 runs about a 14.5 in the 1/4 mile and he pulled me by almost a total car. im hoping to pull 14's here as well track opens in a couple weeks i will post my times..
hatch with gsr I/H/E and skunk 2 intake manifold chipped p28 ecu and that is all... the mods i have at this point wish me luck.
