Fuel pump questions
i might be unloading my vw cheap to stop the financial bleeding & buy a coworkers old honda civic.
apparently it just needs a fuel pump.
i *think* it's a 93 5spd.
is there one or two fuel pumps? (my car has two, most have one)
how much are they worth?
where's it located? (in tank or beneath car, i have one in each spot on my golf)
how difficult is it to change one?
if the numbers all pan out, bye bye vw - hello reliability.

Yep, civics have one. It's right under the backseat, after you take them out. Difficulty would be probably around 3/10, not too hard. You can get a high flow pump and hook up kit for around 100 shipped brand new.

holy sweet jesus that's cheap.
i'm going to try to get more specs on this car today & try to swing a deal over the next couple of weeks. if i can get this car cheap enough, i can afford to sell my vw at a huge loss & still come close to even when/if i sold the civic.
